That's right--you thought you had everyone fooled that your son was so willing to speak such words of wisdom until he dropped the truth bomb--"otter pop!" Nice one mom! Can't wait 'till he shows up in sunbeams asking for otter pops! Seriously though, what a flippin' cute kiddo. I can't wait to see him soon!
Okay, can Braden come over and play with Boston and teach him how to speak??!! This is what I hear from my 2 year old (tomorrow) all day long. "My mothica... ah... oooh oooh... ahhhh, hmmmm (with his pointer finger to the side of his mouth!) ... Juice!....no... my mothica...bye... bye... bye.. no.. juice..." Me: "Boston.. can you say baby? There's a BABY in Momma's belly." Boston: "My mothica... hmmmm, juice!" I must be the worst Mther in the world. My son is going to be in kindergarten talking like Curious George.... seriously... "speech therapist.. I better be getting my money's worth pretty soon!" Did he seriosly say "follow the prophet!!!" Ok.. I am obviously venting!!! Boston... "can you say car, or baby, or ball, or anything in the English language besides, Juice.. no... bye.. and go?" My Mothica doesn't count!!!!!!!
Okay, let's just get this straight right now.....I did NOT,(I promise) bribe my child with an otter pop to sing that song. I know that we may eat, drink, and breathe otter pops in the summer....and thatit is quite possibly very disturbing that my son was asking for one at 7:00 in the morning, but come on....Do I look like the kind of person that bribes their children? (This is a hypothetical question. don't really answer that.)He did it on his own free will and choice...scout's honor.
OOps typo, Please read: "that it" instead of thatit....which looks like I'm talking about something unmentionable on a post about a child and his song about the prophet. Sorry for the error.
I noticed you finally put the coolest people ever on your link list! We are glad we made it to that level of friendship! Was it the cupcakes? I knew they would work! And by-the-way...we are already aware that your kid is more righteous than ours, so you don't need to rub it in!
Flor that is the cutest thing ever! He is getting so big! Very funny that he wanted an otter pop at the end of it. That is so something Harper would do. Your blog cracks me up.
